Garth and Cody live down the road from one another in the woods along a small mountain range separating the Silicon Valley from the Pacific Ocean.

Cody was once a true believer. As a child he aspired to be a cryptozoologist. He now has a degree in Anthropology and does most of the real research for this show. Cody has a strong moral compass, loves Terry Pratchett and is an excellent cook.

Garth is a freelance artist who minored in Astrophysics. As a child he aspired to fly. He has never believed in anything supernatural and but considers himself spiritual in some sort of vague way and exhibits an irritating optimism. Garth writes songs for each episode.
